Impermanence pulses at the heart of mindful awareness practice.

While navigating daily life as characters in our own stories, which is necessary for functioning in the world, we often overlook the underlying fluctuations that are a fundamental aspect of nature.

We may recognize these fluctuations in the changing of seasons but lose touch with them at play in the present. At any given moment, countless sensations and perceptions occur within and around us, many of which are dynamic.

This attention exercise will enhance your skill in recognizing the fleeting nature present in every moment — including sights, sounds, thoughts, body sensations, and emotional feelings.
